Description Anson is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager for Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to drive the growth of our FlowLine product line. In this role, you'll take charge of managing the UK-based Inside Sales Team, achieving business targets, and building strong customer relationships while motivating and leading your team to success. As Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include maximizing sales, overseeing back-office support and customer care, and assisting in financial forecasting. You’ll leverage your technical knowledge of Anson equipment, commercial selling skills, and leadership abilities to align with our business strategy and foster team development. This position requires high self-motivation, autonomy, and a proactive approach to achieving goals, both personally and for the business. Working closely with the Sales Director, you will have ample opportunity for career progression and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales growth for the Anson product line in your region, using both direct sales efforts and leadership of the inside sales team. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and securing sales. Travel frequently to meet clients or attend industry events and conferences. Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals. Prospect for new clients and revitalize dormant accounts. Provide monthly reports to Senior Management, including sales forecasts, quote activity, new orders, and customer feedback. Manage and nurture the sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of forecasts. Supervise and support the Inside Sales team, including assisting with quote preparation for local and international regions. Act as a liaison between the sales department and other internal teams, ensuring customer requirements (e.g., certification, shipping) are communicated effectively. Required Skills & Experience: Strong understanding of business needs and the ability to connect them to key stakeholder objectives. Excellent communication skills to set clear goals and provide constructive feedback. Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop direct reports. Comfortable taking personal responsibility and handling disputes with fairness and resolution. Skilled at identifying talent and ensuring effective staffing in line with business needs. Anticipates challenges and develops contingency plans to ensure goals are met. A natural networker, adept at building and leveraging relationships within and across organizations. Strong customer focus and a collaborative team player. Experience in a similar role, ideally within Oil & Gas operations, business, or sales environments.
