As part of our dynamic Internal Corporate Communications team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our future in Developed Markets and Global Service. We're not just about diagnostics; we're about advancing healthcare, improving patient lives, and embracing diversity.
Your primary focus will be to directly support the Vice President and General Manager of Commercial Operations in Europe by establishing an internal communications strategy to unite team members around culture and business priorities. This role will also work closely with six General Managers across Europe. You will report into the global Corporate Communications team and your work will bring to life Beckman Coulter's business strategy, reinforce our employer brand, and put the spotlight on our culture of diversity, equity and inclusion in Europe.
We are looking for a creative storyteller who will translate corporate strategy into compelling content that resonates on a deeper human level. As Communications Manager, Europe, you will distill complex topics into clear messages and work alongside senior leaders to deliver them through written, spoken and visual channels (executive email, talking points, town halls, presentations, videos, etc).
This role involves traveling at least once per month. However, the travel requirements will be higher initially to support thorough onboarding and may also increase during certain times of the year. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of an international airport to facilitate short-notice travel and maintain operational efficiency.

In this role you will:
1. Develop strategic internal communication plans for our European commercial organization
2. Collaborate with leaders and experts to craft high-impact communications.
3. Create content to enhance our social media presence and support employee recruitment
4. Identify innovative solutions to complex communication challenges
5. Influence others and communicate challenging concepts effectively
6. Create a high performance culture of continuous improvement that is centered around our core behaviours
What Experience You’ll Bring:
7. A track record in communicating change for enterprise-wide initiatives
8. A strong creative capability to transform simple messages into communication that drives action
9. Ability to operate both strategically and tactically; with urgency and enthusiasm
10. A strong attention to detail, superior time management and organizational skills
11. Experience with co-ordinating and crafting in person and virtual townhalls or annual kick off meetings
12. Ability to help drive cultural change such as corporate social responsibility as well as diversity, equity and inclusion strategies. Experience of working with employee resource groups is beneficial
The Essential Qualifications:
13. Bachelor's degree in field with experience or Master's degree
14. Experience developing communications programs that engage and motivate employees
15. Global project management expertise and a familiarity working with multiple lines of business and a diverse workforce
16. Expert writing, editing and presentation skills
17. Fluent written and spoken English
