Client Strategy Director | Summary: To spearhead revenue growth by driving new business opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, and partnering with Client Strategy Directors to deliver innovative consumer research-based consulting solutions that transform the FMCG, CPG, and consumer goods sectors. What you’ll do: As the Client Development Director, you will be at the forefront of driving new business opportunities, as well as key client relationship development. With responsibility for revenue growth selling innovative consumer research-based consulting solutions that unlock unparalleled progress for our key and future clients within FMCG, CPG, and consumer goods companies. You will partner closely with Client Strategy Directors to craft strategic client plans leveraging Catalyx assets to redefine possibilities, innovation, impact and shape thought leadership. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets, combining innovation and market insights to unlock growth for our clients. Identify and engage with key decision-makers at key companies, fostering strong relationships and positioning Catalyx as their preferred innovation consultancy partner. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including marketing, delivery, and Catalyx LABS, aligning sales efforts with our diverse service offerings and client needs. End-to-End Sales Ownership: Drive the complete sales process, from prospecting and impactful pitches to contract negotiation and deal closures, ensuring a seamless and value-driven experience for our clients. Strategic Insights and Recommendations: Partnering with Senior Client Strategy Directors to leverage our extensive knowledge of Insight and innovation consultancy to provide strategic insights and recommendations, empowering clients to unlock growth opportunities. Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and the general competitive landscape to continually enhance our service offerings and position our point of difference clearly. Client Relationship Management: Effectively manage client relationships, prioritising high levels of satisfaction, retention, and cultivating repeat business. Developing a pathway towards top-tier relationship building, utilising Catalyx assets. Deliver high-quality, profitable proposals and solutions. Strategic Contribution: Collaborate with the leadership team to refine sales strategies, optimise processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Catalyx. Learning & Development (L&D) Delivery: Utilise technical and leadership experiences, along with best practice content, to contribute to the wider team and business's learning and development. Thought Leadership: Contribute to marketing collateral such as thought pieces, blogs, topical features, and solution/case study explainers. Develop and leverage assets for deployment at clients to reshape thinking and highlight Catalyx process and solution thinking. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in successfully selling market research and innovation consultancy services to large FMCG, CPG, and consumer goods companies. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, unlocking substantial growth from a diverse client portfolio. Strong network and existing relationships with key decision-makers in the FMCG, CPG, and consumer goods sectors. Deep understanding of market research, innovation consultancy, and consumer goods industry dynamics. Experience in cultivating long-term client relationships, retaining and expanding business programs over multiple years. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience in new business development and creating new client relationships. Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative sales approaches tailored to client needs.
