Software Development Manager The role: Join our dynamic team as a Software Development Manager at Inside Travel Group, a leading B Corp certified travel company. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the re-platforming of our bespoke Axum booking system, ensuring timely and budget-friendly project delivery. You'll manage this and other software development projects, source and collaborate with development partners, and engage with stakeholders to capture business requirements. Key responsibilities: Managing software development projects from inception to completion. Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates. Ensuring effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences. Sourcing and managing relationships with development partners. Coordinating with development partners to ensure project milestones are met. Reviewing and approving code changes and ensuring adherence to quality assurance processes. Traveling to branch offices to understand their specific needs and ensure alignment with the overall project goals. What we are looking for from you: Experience in managing software projects including upgrades and migrations Experience in negotiating and contracting software development projects Experience in managing development teams Experience of integrating systems through API links Good understanding of tools for managing Software Development projects (e.g. JIRA) Experience of documenting software requirements for large projects Knowledge of all aspects of the software development lifecycle Knowledge of coding standards and best practices Experience in conducting code reviews Knowledge of security and data protection requirements for systems that handle PII.
