About the Role As a Production Planner, you will work collaboratively with various departments to ensure production schedules are optimised and deadlines are met. You’ll play a critical role in improving processes, implementing new scheduling systems, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations to deliver high-quality products on time. In this role, you will also help integrate new scheduling software into the company’s ERP system, taking ownership of the planning process for all production areas. Key Responsibilities Utilise and maintain MRP systems to manage production schedules effectively. Release and control all production work orders across operations. Coordinate the completion of finished goods for dispatch. Liaise with teams across departments, including Sales, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Stores. Highlight and address production bottlenecks, supporting process improvement initiatives. Maintain data integrity within the master data system. Create weekly production plans to optimise throughput. Essential Skills At least two years of experience in a production planning role within a manufacturing or similar environment. Proficiency in MRP systems and advanced IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent analytical and organisational abilities. Ability to adapt to changes and thrive in a dynamic environment.
