Our work focuses on hospitals, research facilities, laboratories, and emergency response infrastructure, ensuring resilient and future-proof healthcare systems. We are part of AECOM’s UK Buildings & Places business, headquartered in Aldgate, London. We have a strong presence across East Anglia. Our team is successfully delivering complex healthcare, science, and infrastructure projects, including: Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital Kettering General Hospital – New Energy Centre (sustainable hospital infrastructure) RAF Lakenheath Health & Infrastructure Programme (AECOM has secured an 8-year PM/CM framework with USVF) Astex Therapeutics (science and research facility) University of Cambridge - Whittle Laboratory (science and research facility) Our 30 strong regional team of professional Project Managers comes from diverse educational backgrounds (MRICS, MICE, CIOB), but all share a common goal: delivering high-quality healthcare and science environments. Here’s what you’ll do: As the ideal candidate you will have consultancy or client-side experience in managing healthcare, science, or infrastructure projects and should be able to: Project management for the successful delivery of healthcare and science-based construction projects. Lead stakeholder engagement with NHS Trusts, research institutions, and government health agencies. Guide and develop junior project managers within the team. Secure client confidence and trust through excellent delivery and communication. Manage project time, cost, and quality effectively. Support sustainability, digital transformation, and resilience goals within healthcare and science infrastructure projects.
