We are currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to guide and support our dedicated care team in the St Austell & Newquay areas of Cornwall. About the Role As a Team Leader at Bluebird Care, you will oversee and support our care and support workers, ensuring that our customers receive the best care tailored to their unique needs. You’ll work closely with the Area Manager to ensure service excellence and a consistent, person-centred approach. Your responsibilities will include: Leading, supervising, and motivating a team of care professionals. Supporting the development of care plans and risk assessments. Managing rotas to ensure our customers are consistently supported. Delivering person-centred care and maintaining high standards of quality. Assisting in the training and development of team members to help them reach their full potential. About You We are looking for a driven and compassionate leader who has: Proven experience in a home care setting, with a background in leading and supporting teams. A passion for person-centred care, ensuring that the needs and preferences of each customer are met with kindness and respect. Experience managing rotas, developing care plans, and conducting risk assessments (desirable). An NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care (or working towards). The ability to provide support, guidance, and development to care staff. Essential Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car. Right to work in the UK.
