People Management Oversee support to planning by the SEO Corporate Planning and Performance Leads, working closely with their line manager, you will:

* Ensure the Leads have well-defined corporate planning and performance objectives, that are aligned with and delivered according to the Agency's business requirements.
* Ensure Leads meet the standards of performance required of the role and the grade expectations, helping their line manager to understand and highlight their achievements and development needs.
Corporate Planning Set the direction for UK Space Agency, by setting, publish and update annually the Agency's corporate plan. You will:
* Work with the Agency's Strategy and Senior Leadership Teams to define the Agency's delivery aims and priorities for the Spending Review period.
* Consult teams across the Agency, to collect information about their proposed delivery plans and resource needs.
* Informed by UK Space Agency's long term strategy, ensure UK Space Agency's plan fully allocates resources to priorities, defines clear milestones and outcomes, and sets stretching success targets.
* Work with the Finance, Strategy and Portfolio Management Teams to help senior decision-makers to make choices about priorities and trade-offs, to ensure the plan is achievable and affordable.
* Secure Executive Committee and Departmental approval of the final Corporate Plan and produce a published version that communicates a clear vision and well-defined milestones, metrics and resource allocations.
* Engage upwards and outwards with stakeholders in DSIT to ensure alignment between the Corporate Plan and the National Space Strategy and DSIT direction.
Power up our programmes and keep delivery on track, by maintaining our plan in-year. You will:
* Introduce and maintain a digital tool that helps staff to access their planning data throughout the year.
* Work with the Portfolio Management Team to ensure in-year changes to the plan are recorded to maintain a coherent record of Agency resources and activities.
* Provide routine advice to the Agency's Portfolio Management Team, to enable regular reporting about teams' progress to deliver their plans and manage their risks.
* Drive continuous improvements, to ensure the Agency's corporate planning tools and processes are efficient, effective and support staff wellbeing.
Annual Report & Accounts
* Oversee the production of the annual report and accounts.
* Coordinate the provision of information from teams across the Agency to populate the annual report and accounts publication.
