Main Responsibilities
* Develop Frontend Applications using Nextjs, React and Sanity.io
* Develop Backend applications using NodeJS in a serverless architecture
* Maintain a high level of Unit Test Coverage
* Adhere to coding standards
* Participate in Communities of practice
* Play an active role in agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, sprint planning and stand-ups
Required Experience
* Strong communication skills
* Strong organisation and time management skills
* Ability to work independently, proactively and as part of a wider team
Commercial experience in the following areas:
* Development using JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Nextjs and React preferred)
* Development of serverless applications (Node.js preferred)
* Development of REST and/or GraphQL APIs
Desirable Experience
* Experience working in the Insurance sector or other highly regulated sectors
Please note: This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to work on site in Cardiff 2 days per week.
