Applebarn Early Years Learning has been open since September 2017 and has quickly become a popular choice of childcare within the locality. We are a small purpose-built setting accommodating up to 15 children at any one session. We achieved an Outstanding Ofsted Report in July 2020 and we have an ongoing commitment to providing a high level of childcare and learning experiences for our children.
We follow a whole setting approach to safeguarding ensuring that keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do. It is important that our values are understood and shared by all children, staff, parents, and volunteers.
We understand that continuing professional development is important for both the setting and the individual staff members and will therefore endeavor to provide opportunities for you to further your practice.
We are looking for someone to join our small team of dedicated professionals. You will have a Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years, with a good knowledge of EYFS and Development Matters.
You will show excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to communicate with the children, their parents, and your colleagues. Strong organizational skills are essential as you will be required to undertake planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS. You will be friendly, kind, outgoing, and flexible and prove yourself to be a strong team player.

Information about the School
Applebarn Early Years Learning is a small purpose-built preschool set in its own unique garden surroundings in Stansted Mountfitchet. Children are allowed free movement between the indoor and outdoor environments and we also have daily adventures into the wonderful local countryside. On-site we have our own chickens and ducks which the children regard as Applebarn pets and we regularly hatch our own 'new babies'. Our inside playroom is light and airy whilst retaining a homely feel. Our toys, equipment, and resources are chosen carefully to create a rich learning environment that inspires children and feeds their imaginations.
