Financial Controller (Part-time - 3 days per week) CBRE's Global Controllership team requires a part time qualified accountant with experience of working in a controllership function for a major group or with a major audit firm working on complex clients. This role maintains GLs across multiple entities reporting under US GAAP for the Groups flexible office offering. It is also responsible for driving the statutory audit process to achieve timely filing with companies house. We require an addition to the team to ensure the continuance of our timely, accurate and reliable reporting to CBRE group and to ensure the effective day to day financial operations of all legal entities in this remit. Key responsibilities Leading month end close for a number of legal entities. Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of financial statement variance analysis at month and quarter end Co-ordinate quarterly VAT returns with outsource provider Lead on audit preparation and engagement with auditor Book AP transactions and raise revenue invoices Key skills and experience Strong analytical capabilities, process improvement and organization skills; Experience of GL accounting - preferably under US GAAP Maintain professional relationships with the Company's auditors, outsourced providers and senior CBRE stakeholders Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently whilst maintaining a positive and professional attitude Experience of legal entity dissolution an advantage but not essential Experience of Oracle and OneStream desirable but not essential as full training will be given Working at CBRE When you join CBRE you will have the support and resources of a global firm where an entrepreneurial mind-set is encouraged.
