If you're ready to make an impact and thrive in a role where your expertise truly counts, we'd love to hear from you Role Details Role: Payroll Coordinator Status: Part Time (18.5 FTE) Location: Based in Aberdeen, with an option for fully remote work Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (FTE) £20,000 to £25,000 (PTE) This is a part-time position with flexibility in how the working hours are structured to best align with the needs of the role. We are open to discussing and agreeing upon a schedule that accommodates both the candidate's preferences and the operational requirements of our client. Your Role at a Glance: You'll be at the heart of payroll operations dedicated to a key client, coordinating the end-to-end process and working in conjunction with our client and the AAB payroll team. From coordinating data transfers to resolving anomalies, you'll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly and accurately. This includes maintaining thorough records, adhering to compliance standards, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to address queries and provide payroll-related insights. Your expertise will be vital in streamlining processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time. What We're Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a similar payroll role; Strong communication skills; Strong IT literacy including Payroll Systems, timewriting systems, HR databases, Microsoft Office; Highly numerate with accuracy and attention to detail; Exceptional planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities; and Self-starter with a proactive, solution-focused mindset. Preferred Expertise: Knowledge of Oracle HRMS and timewriting systems; Experience in the oil and gas industry; and Working towards or holding a CIPP qualification.
