About No Isolation
No Isolation was founded in 2015 when we developed AV1, a telepresence robot for absent students during periods when they cannot physically attend class. AV1 connects students to their lessons, enables them to learn from their own teachers, and belong in their school community. The children and young people we support are absent due to medical and mental health needs. Our headquarters are located in Oslo, where No Isolation was founded, and our 30 employees work across Europe with offices also in Munich and London.
AV1 is used in over 2,600 classrooms across 18 European countries today. Positioned in the EdTech sector as a solution to the growing problem of persistent absence, AV1 is a unique technology that supports pupils with their education as well as their social needs and life beyond the classroom.
