Post: Business Continuity Manager
Salary: PO 1 / 4 - £39,813 - £46,503

An opportunity has arisen for the post of Business Continuity Manager. If you have experience within this field, and possess a proactive and driven approach, this role could be right for you.
You will have responsibility for developing, co-ordinating and implementing Force business continuity plans. This will involve gathering, developing, analysing and documenting information from a broad range of sources so you will be particularly suited to this post if you have a methodical approach, with excellent knowledge of business continuity management and the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate they are dynamic and can adapt to changing priorities. Stakeholder management is imperative in this post so effective communication and building strong working relationships is essential.
The successful post holder will be responsible for providing specialist advice, developing frameworks which can manage and mitigate threats, as well as evaluating information to identify patterns and trends. Although not essential, it would be advantageous for applicants to have knowledge of risk management, and hold project management experience.
