The Marketing Manager position at Criterion Hospitality involves a dynamic blend of strategic planning, creative execution, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
* Develop, implement, and oversee a holistic marketing strategy including digital activities that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
* Analyse market trends, competitor landscape, and guest insights to identify opportunities.
* Define target audiences and create tailored marketing plans to increase customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty.
Brand Management:
* Maintain and enhance all Criterion Hospitality brands identities across all marketing channels.
* Create compelling content that reflects each brand’s voice and resonates with target audience
Website & SEO Management:
* Oversee the design, functionality, and content of the website, ensuring a user-friendly experience that drives conversions.
* Implement SEO best practices to enhance organic search rankings and improve website traffic.
* Monitor and optimize website performance, user experience, and booking engine integration.
Email Marketing & CRM:
* Oversee the design, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and customer journey automation.
* Implement CRM strategies to segment audiences, personalize messaging, and improve guest engagement and retention.
* Analyze email campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize accordingly.
* Track, report, and optimize campaign performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Collaborative Efforts:
* Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, revenue management) to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and overall business goals.
* Coordinate with external partners and agencies for promotional activities and events to create strong brand awareness.
Performance Analysis:
* Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
* Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance data.
* Create detailed monthly and quarterly reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for future growth.
Customer Engagement:
* Develop programs to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
* Organize events, promotions, and partnerships to attract and engage guests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing, traditional advertising, and hospitality trends.
* Creativity and Innovation: Ability to create standout campaigns that differentiate the brand.
* Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing data to inform decision-making.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for internal collaboration and guest engagement.
* Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines effectively.
* Leadership Abilities: Experience in managing teams and inspiring performance.
Preferred:
* Experience managing marketing for hotels, resorts, restaurants, or related businesses.
* Familiarity with online booking systems, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), and property management systems (PMS).
* Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitive landscape.
