Job Title: Sales Manager/Sales Director
Location: Home-Based / Hybrid (Liphook HQ)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 basic + Car Allowance + Performance-Related Bonus

Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong background in technical sales? We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Manager/Sales Director to lead business development efforts in the education and industrial sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established machine tool supplier and play a crucial role in expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate and develop new and existing business within the education and industrial sectors.
* Achieve or exceed sales targets set by the board.
* Deliver gross profit objectives as set by the Managing Director.
* Work closely with the MD & marketing team to create and execute a business development plan.
* Provide sales forecasts and reports as required by the business.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
* Provide customers with technical and commercial information.
* Maintain up-to-date industry and product knowledge.
Requirements & Skills:
* Proven experience in technical sales, ideally in engineering or machine tool sales.
* Strong background selling into education and industrial sectors (schools, colleges, universities, and industrial clients).
* Knowledge of machine tools, milling machines, and lathes is an advantage.
* Ability to develop and execute a business development plan independently.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to generate new sales leads.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving aptitude and interpersonal skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail and computer literacy.
* Self-motivated, highly driven, and able to work without supervision.
