Successful FMCG/Retail business require a Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst. Applicants need experience in a supply chain, inventory, purchasing or forecasting related role, ideally within a product-led FMCG, manufacturing or retail business.
An exciting end-to-end supply chain role, the Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst will look to optimise stock and inventory management strategies, satisfying customers in the most cost-effective way. Working closely with colleagues in commercial and sales, the Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst will also get to interface directly with suppliers and customers regarding the availability of products and stock.
Specific duties of the Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst include:
1. Point-of-contact for customers regarding product availability and stock/inventory issues
2. Optimisation of inventory holdings using data analysis skills across MS Excel and supply chain planning/forecasting software
3. Prepare forecasts for new product launches, seasonal and promotional ranges through analysis of previous customer demand
4. Supplier management - drive suppliers to hit OTD/OTIF metric in order to meet customer forecasts
5. Support Supply Chain leadership in regards to process improvement activities within the function
Senior Inventory / Supply Chain Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. Previous experience within a supply chain, inventory, forecasting, purchasing or demand planning role
2. Experience within a FMCG, manufacturing, or retail environment
3. Strong data analysis skills - Intermediate level in MS Excel and familiarity with Planning/Forecasting tools
4. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
5. Comfortable with an on-site role
