We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly respected, RCVS accredited 24-hour small animal hospital located in Derbyshire. This is a full-time position offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, though part-time applications are also warmly welcomed. Our client is committed to flexibility and is happy to discuss what might work best for you.
You’ll be joining a dynamic and friendly team of ten vets, led by a brilliant head nurse and supported by twelve skilled nurses and five dedicated receptionists. The team culture is one of collaboration and continuous development, with many of the vets either holding or actively pursuing certificates in areas such as dermatology, surgery, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and ophthalmology.
To be considered, you will need to be RCVS registered and bring with you solid experience in delivering high-quality care to both patients and clients. Strong teamworking skills, a passion for clinical standards, and an ability to support nurse consultations and schedule 3 procedures will be important. Experience in leading or mentoring within a clinical setting would also be a strong asset.
