This new part-time (0.5 FTE) post is part of a job share and is available from February 2025 on a permanent basis. Summary of the role Working in partnership with colleagues across the region, the operations manager will provide tactical leadership on the development, delivery and integration of policies and protocols in the fast-moving area of undergraduate medicine. They will support the University’s vision of high-quality medical education delivered by a Russell Group University with a particular focus on student experience on its flagship programme. They will develop a network of key contacts across institutions, both internally and externally, representing the interests of the programme. They will be expected to use experience gained in other roles, ideally from a wide-ranging management remit covering areas such as finance, compliance, quality assurance, taking informed decisions and communicating these effectively on a daily basis. As part of the Senior Management Team, the postholder will be expected to provide support, leadership and guidance to members of the wider team. Principle responsibilities are likely to include: Taking a lead role in transforming and strengthening the delivery of undergraduate medicine at Exeter. Ensuring the highest standard of compliance with protocols covering a regulated programme. Managing resources within defined parameters.
