Job Duties:
The Maths and English KS3 Outreach Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored academic support to Key Stage 3 students in the subjects of Mathematics and English. Duties include developing lesson plans, conducting one-on-one or group tutoring sessions, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Mathematics, English, or Education
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with Key Stage 3 students

Prior experience working with Key Stage 3 students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 3 curriculum for Mathematics and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles of individual students
- Proficiency in assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Additional training in tutoring or teaching techniques
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The Maths and English KS3 Outreach Tutor will primarily work in an educational setting, providing support to students in Greater London, Dagenham.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
