Our client is looking for a Farm/Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join their fantastic team. They offer an interesting and varied caseload, with a focus that leans more toward equine cases. Farm work ranges from smallholders with pigs and alpacas to large commercial farms with significant cattle herds, primarily for beef production. For those interested in something a bit more unique, the practice also handles zoo work.
The role will primarily involve routine checks, with common procedures including broken limbs, caesareans, rig operations, and laser treatments. One of the Clinical Directors is highly regarded for their skills in artificial insemination and embryo transfer, offering opportunities for those looking to develop their expertise in these areas.
The practice boasts a strong team of professionals with specialisations in orthopaedics, reproduction, medicine, and surgery. They currently have nine Veterinary Surgeons, including two certificate holders, supported by two Registered Veterinary Nurses and five support staff. The team is enthusiastic and dynamic, and they are looking for a like-minded individual to join them.

The Rota:
1. Full time role - 40 hour week over 4 days between Monday and Friday
2. 1:4 weekend rota
3. Out of hours /on call of 1 night per week
