We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Operations Manager for a multi-faceted role at our busy and fast-paced office in Littlehampton. Verve Homecare Sussex specialises in delivering outstanding health and social care services which is predominately rooted, but not limited to, complex care in both paediatric and adult services and Children and Young people's services with social and challenging behavioural needs.
Having a background either as a Registered Manager, or managerial experience within a regulated healthcare service/organisation would be desirable and highly advantageous to this role.
As Operations Manager, one of your key responsibilities would be as a key mediatory figure, liaising and bridging communication between our clients, care and nursing staff, and our team of rota coordinators. Your duties would include providing oversight on our rotas, intervening and troubleshooting where necessary in support and in conjunction with our rota coordinators.
You would act as a focal point of contact in maintaining excellent customer/client relationships, with an empathetic and problem-solving approach which builds trust and rapport. This would also apply to our care/support workers and nurses, as well as being a go-to person for any support that our rota coordinators may need.
Having an acute understanding of our budgets, pay and charge rates and areas in which we'd like to expand the business will always be pivotal in the role. An ideal candidate therefore would be someone who has a background in working with NHS and local authority commissioning bodies.
As Operations Manager, you would adeptly monitor existing staffing levels on the many packages of care we deliver, and report/collaborate with our BDM on where we have staffing capacity to grow.
You will demonstrate excellent recruitment and head-hunting abilities and quickly target areas of the business where staffing levels may need to be strengthened. This will be important in terms of supporting care coordinators who are overseeing existing packages of care, and to aid our BDM in areas that they would like to expand into.

Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Strong ability to multitask
