Our client, a well-known & growing business based in Guildford, is looking for a Trainee Payroll Assistant to join their Accountancy team.
Job Description
Trainee Payroll Assistant - Guildford
1. Process weekly payroll
2. Save timesheets in PDF and JPEG format
3. Add timesheets manually into the current payroll system
4. Raise self-bills and umbrella invoices
5. Raise sales invoices through the system for sending out PDFs
6. Add expenses for contractors as necessary
7. Conduct new starter checks
8. Assist with new client onboarding as required
9. Set up payment runs
10. Process payments in Sage accounts
11. Handle contractor/client queries via phone or email
12. Assist with sending statements on accounts to clients as required
13. Support the Accounts Manager as needed
