Tired of Same-Old Deputy Manager Roles? You’ve seen the ads – the same promises, the same buzzwords. But here’s the difference: this role isn’t just a box to tick or a stepping stone. It’s your chance to be part of something brand new. A home built from the ground up, for children who deserve better. You’ll be stepping into a role where you’re not just managing a shift – you’re shaping lives. You’ll work side-by-side with another Deputy Manager and a Dual Registered Manager, in a company that’s opening six new homes this year alone. If you’ve got ambition (and we know you do), we’ll help you turn that drive into reality. We’ll pay for your Level 5 course and get you enrolled straight away. With top-tier providers, you’ll have everything you need to succeed. And here’s the kicker: once you’ve smashed your goals, we’ll build a team around you. We’re not just hiring – we’re preparing you to run your own home. Sound like the kind of challenge you’ve been waiting for? About the Role: You’ll be at the heart of a new children’s home designed for 2-3 children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The home will be a safe, nurturing space where children can truly thrive, surrounded by a team of carers who want to make a difference. Your role will be to help shape the home’s culture from the ground up, ensuring the children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. Whether you’ve been a Deputy Manager before or you’re a Team Leader with 1 years of experience, we’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about delivering high-quality care as we are. This isn’t just a job – it’s an opportunity to build something meaningful with a company that believes in doing things differently. What We’re Looking For: Experience working in a children’s home is essential, but we’re open to different backgrounds. Whether you’ve worked in SEMH, LD, or elsewhere, we want people with a solid care background. You don’t need to have been a Deputy Manager before, but you must have at least 1 year of Team Leader experience. A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent. You must be able to drive, as the location requires travel. Above all, you must be passionate about care and driven to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Why Join Us? Progression Opportunities: Fast-growing company with 6 homes opening this year alone. If you’ve got the ambition, we’ve got the opportunities. Level 5 Qualification: We’ll pay for your course and get you enrolled immediately. Tailored Career Path: You’ll be working directly with a Director who has over 30 years of experience in children’s residential care. This isn’t just another interview – it’s a conversation over coffee to understand who you are, your values, and your career ambitions. Whether you’re aiming for staff development, becoming a quality assessor, or eventually leading as a residential manager, we’ll help you get there. We’re not about one-size-fits-all. We care about building a community that supports each child, not just filling roles. Next Steps: Sit down with our Director, who’s spent over 30 years in this field, including running a 35-bed children’s home for SEMH, LD, and PMLD children for over 23 years. It won’t be your typical interview – we want to know about you, your values, and where you want to take your career. You’ll have a big conversation about your future – not just your next step, but how we can map out a whole career path for you. Because here, it’s not about fitting into a mold – it’s about helping you achieve your ambitions at your own pace. Ready to Join? If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we want to hear from you.
