We are looking for a Production Operative to join our busy and growing organisation. The Production Operative will set and run assets in the most efficient way and carry out daily checks and maintenance on the assets to ensure longevity. Key responsibilities: Operate agreed equipment in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including health and safety Adhere to any Personal Protective Equipment supplied as instructed in SSOW Immediately notify Line Manager when production issues occur that are not minor and cannot be resolved by you Ensure that continuous production is maintained wherever possible Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions Carry out tasks within time limits Ensure compliance to quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures Escalate risks, particularly where deadlines are likely to be missed, in a timely manner in order that they may be addressed, suggesting solutions where appropriate.
