Astroscale UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Systems Administrator – SAP. This newly created role will be essential in supporting our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP system across the business. You’ll be developing yourself as a subject-matter-expert (SME) to the wider business as we implement and transition to business as usual with SAP Business by Design, and support across the UK entity with training and support to different teams as needed. Responsibilities Support the UK business cross functionally (finance, projects, inventory, procurement, and others) to use SAP Business by Design, maintaining and configuring user access, creating suitable business roles and approval flows as needed. Supporting the maintenance of Master data in SAP working with data owners to ensure integrity. Support the integration of SAP with other key systems such as Salesforce and PLM. Manage the resolutions of business and technical queries using your role as a subject matter expert in SAP to find the most effective solution. Responsible for reviewing and maintaining process and systems training material. Identifying improvement projects for users and system configuration changes which will result in working efficiencies. Dealing with requests for information from users by designing reports and dashboards to improve user visibility of the data held in the SAP database. Support the rollout of further SAP modules as the business expands. Essential Skills Strong knowledge and experience in Finance systems, specifically SAP Business by Design. Resourceful, self-managed, and goal driven with the ability to work effectively in teams and to fixed deadlines to meet business requirements. Inter-personal skills with an ability to quickly establish effective working relationships across geographical and cultural borders. Organised with a good attention to detail. Experience with/an understanding of Finance IT systems, specifically SAP Business by Design.
