Contract or Permanent | Competitive Salary/Rate Highly competitive salary or contract rate (negotiable based on experience) Flexible contract options: Work on an ongoing contracting basis or secure a permanent role About the Role: As a Project Engineering Manager, youll lead multi-discipline engineering design across the project lifecycle in a highly regulated industry. Youll ensure projects are safe-by-design, sustainable, and technically sound, while meeting commercial and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee multi-discipline engineering design on major infrastructure projects Manage project resources, engineering strategy, and technical governance Co-ordinate engineering and design interfaces with project partners & supply chain Lead contractual communications, progress meetings, risk management, and cost reporting Ensure compliance with project controls, safety standards, and digital delivery processes Skills & Experience Required for the Project Engineering Manager role: Degree qualified (Chartered Engineer preferred but not essential) Experience leading major projects in a highly regulated industry (e.g., nuclear, chemical, infrastructure) Strong knowledge of project controls (schedule, cost, risk, change management) APM qualification (desirable but not essential) UK Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the role.
