McGill Mortgages is looking to recruit a competent and enthusiastic Mortgage & Office Administrator based in our lovely office in Galashiels.
McGill Mortgages is an award-winning company and is part of the UK’s largest mortgage network, with access to over 12,000 products from over 90 UK lenders.
We specialise in providing expert advice to a range of clients. This includes first-time buyers, home movers, remortgages, families looking to expand their homes, and landlords adding to their portfolio.
Your role will involve maintaining existing client relationships and nurturing new client relationships along the house buying process and mortgage journey.
You will have an ability to work towards deadlines and build invaluable relationships with clients and mortgage lenders, as well as introducers.
You will process mortgage applications and help the business obtain funds for clients.
Key responsibilities
1. Relationship management of all pipeline business
2. Processing and submission of lender applications
3. Liaising with clients and lenders to proactively progress client cases to completion
4. Client document checking and input of client data on CRM system
5. Diary management for qualification of client appointment
6. Attending daily and weekly action meetings
Skills required
1. Experience preferred
2. Self-motivated, customer-focused and ability to use own initiative
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office
4. First-class communication skills both written and oral
5. Excellent attention to detail - right first-time attitude
6. Team player - working effectively alone but supporting your colleagues
