Management Accounts Executive

We are working on behalf of a prestigious organisation to recruit a Management Accounts Executive to join their Internal Finance Function (NFO) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the organisation’s financial processes, contribute to its growth, and mentor junior team members in a varied and challenging role.
About the Role
As a Management Accounts Executive, you’ll take on diverse responsibilities, including:
1. Preparing monthly management accounts journals.
2. Managing firm-wide overheads, core function reporting, and balance sheet reporting, including reconciliations for accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and more.
3. Supporting key projects, such as Project Acorn, by delivering meaningful management insights.
4. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards through risk management and process documentation.
5. Coaching and developing junior team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude. Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
2. Technical Skills: Proficient in IT, with strong Excel skills.
3. Attributes:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A self-starter with initiative and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong accuracy and prioritisation skills, with attention to detail.
* A passion for maintaining high standards and a desire for variety and challenge in your work will set you apart in this role.
