Job Description Purpose of the role To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources. Accountabilities Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification. Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis. Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems. Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement. Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda. The Pricing Manager for Barclaycard Payments will provide analytical insight to support pricing strategy and execution across Barclaycard’s products and services. The role involves supporting key pricing projects, such as mass re-pricing due to scheme or policy changes, and driving enhancements to pricing structure, policy, and processes. You will collaborate with commercial teams to implement pricing policies, optimize value creation, and identify opportunities to improve customer profitability and pricing efficiency. Additionally, the role requires leveraging insights from internal data to challenge existing practices and collaborating with the Value Management Team to share best practices and develop skills. This role can be based on Northampton or Fleet or London location.
