Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Steer Automotive Group is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our front-of-house team at our Newcastle Central site.

About the Role:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, delivering outstanding service both in person, over the phone, and via email. Your role will be key in ensuring customers feel confident that their vehicles are in safe hands, while supporting the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
13. Warmly greet and assist customers in a professional manner.
14. Manage the entire customer journey, handling inquiries, complaints, and resolutions.
15. Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department.
16. Regularly update customers on the progress of their vehicle repairs.
17. Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
18. Handle administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and updating records.
19. Ensure timely and efficient service to insurers and customers.
20. Keep computer systems and portals up-to-date with the latest information.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service role, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
21. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
22. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
23. Administrative experience and proficiency in MS Office and other computer systems.
24. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
25. Familiarity with the local Newcastle Central area is a plus.
