We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Birds Eye As the Category and Insights Executive you’ll be responsible for the creation of weekly and monthly reports, utilising data from a variety of sources (such as Neilson & Kantar) turning market and retailer data into actionable insights. You’ll develop a working knowledge of the Frozen Food Category, including market segmentation and trends to enable more effective reporting, sharing category reports across the Category Development team, and to internal stakeholder where actions can be taken. About the role… This role is a great foundation for learning the ropes of Category Management, where you’ll be able to build strategic relationships with Commercial, Revenue Growth Management and Marketing teams & be a pivotal contact in providing the necessary insight reports to make key business decisions. Key responsibilities will include: Analysis of monthly data sources (EPOS/Kantar/Nielsen/Loyalty data) Provide Category Reporting Excellence with efficient and smart reports that enable the key factual performance insights. Creation of distribution and gap analysis reports to enable the team to identify and realising distribution and ranging opportunities. Working with the wider teams to turn trends and insights into commercial opportunities. Work closely retailer specific data agencies to become a reporting super user where relevant. Use data analysis to show evaluation of market and category performance specifically around NPD and Range Review analysis. About you… We’re looking for someone with previous experience of working in a similar role and is happy to work with a lot of data - analysing and interrogating it. Ideally coming from a FMCG/Retail background, we look for people who are focused on getting results, embrace learning and bring positive energy, combining initiative with a sense of teamwork and collaboration. You’re good with data, you’re analytical, curious, and inquisitive mindset. You’re an excel expert. Experience in deriving insights from data (either through working with a data agency or in an insights role).
