Are you an Experienced Bid Writer looking to enhance your career with a growing construction business? We are thrilled to be working with this privately owned main contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Bid Writer to join their team to oversee the process of securing their future pipeline of works. Based in their offices on the west side of Glasgow, this role is key to the planned growth of this business. This business has a proven track record of offering their staff excellent career prospects with numerous success stories. Duties of the role will include: Establish lasting relationships with all current and prospective customers. Develop a proactive sector strategy for targeting key companies and individuals in line with the business plan. Actively contacting their current client base to identify new tender opportunities. Review weekly Glenigan reports & Council Planning Portals to highlight any projects of interest. Ensuring Compliance with Bid Management Processes. Delivering Core Services on project bids. Input to monthly reporting. Meeting all deadlines for bid return dates and as may be otherwise set by management. Attend tender launch meetings and participate in brainstorming sessions on how to submit a successful tender. Completion of the pre-qualification process successfully. Delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within customer defined timeframes. Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from estimating, planning, construction management, commercial, contract and delivery team. Utilising Proposal automation software, so experience using would be advantageous. Document template management in line with Bid Management Processes. Development and maintenance of the Economic and Social Governance, programmes. To be considered for the role we are looking for those with the following: Proven track record in writing bids for housing / construction tender opportunities. Experience using key platforms including Public Contract Scotland. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
