Are you a dynamic and experienced communications leader, ready to make a significant impact?
We are seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of Head of Communications and Engagement to cover a period of maternity leave.
The post holder will be managing multiple teams of high-performing communications professionals, including Internal Communications, External Communications, Marketing and Engagement, and Digital and Creative specialists who together manage our full-service in-house communications team.
In this exciting and varied role, you will be an energetic self-starter, with the ability set the strategic direction for the Service. You will work with the Executive Group and other senior leaders in all areas of the business to provide advice, support and direction across all communications disciplines. You will create strategies to support the leadership team, generating insight through community and colleague engagement.
You will be responsible for the financial and resource management of the department.
You will have significant experience of working at a senior level within a corporate communications environment in a mid to large, diverse organisation; in particular owning and delivering solutions that support major transformation and change initiatives. With a high level of drive, commitment, innovation and flair, you will be highly customer focused with the capability to work in a fast moving, multi-task, pressurised environment.
