Due to expansion plans and new contracts secured they are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based in the North West As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the company's project delivery teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for the financial management of multiple social housing projects, providing expert guidance and ensuring that all costs are meticulously tracked and managed. As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will increase profitability whilst maintaining quality and customer relationships. To understand, adhere and assist were with implementing the company SHEQ policy/strategy. Protecting the company's interests at all times and work with Senior Management on any live and potential disputes that can expose the company to risk associated with working in new areas and with new suppliers. Key Responsibilities: Lead the cost management process for social housing projects from inception to completion. Prepare and manage tender documents, contracts, and cost estimates. Conduct regular site visits and monitor project progress to assess compliance with budget and quality standards. Provide post-contract advice and manage all contractual issues throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project financials. Ensure monthly operational billings are accurate and reflect realistic delivery on site, monitor and manage monthly changes in billings projections providing report on major movements. Manage cash collection and invoicing of month accrued income values. Analyse project risks and prepare contingency plans. Prepare reports on financial status, forecasts, and budgets for stakeholders. Mentor and support a team of quantity surveyors and other team members. Must-Have Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry. Strong background working specifically within the social housing sector. In-depth knowledge of construction costs and pricing strategies. Experience with contract administration and negotiation (JCT, NEC, etc.). Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations impacting social housing and construction. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven ability to build relationships with clients and contractors Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent influencing & negotiating skills Ability to critically Annalise commercial reportage IT skills - MS Office, Excel. Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is desirable. INDAF
