Equans is looking for a Mobile Cleaner and Handyperson to join our team working in various sites including Cambridge County Court, CB1 1BA on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,000.00 per annum and benefits package .
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

What you will deliver.
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive tasks on a wide variety of surfaces, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and Equans processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities. Activities will include -
* Mobile Cleaning, 'business as usual' cleaning to cover holiday/sickness.
* Respond to reactive clear up of body spills and deep cleans.
* Inspect/repair/clean floors, walls, ceilings and roofs
* Inspect/repair/clean free standing and fitted furniture
* Inspect/repair/clean drainage and gully systems
* Inspect/replace luminaries
* Inspect/repair/clean doors (Inc. Fire Doors), windows and associated furniture.
* Painting, re-decorating and hanging of pictures/signed/notices
* Assist engineering and cleaning staff in a wide range of duties as required
* Carry out Ad-Hoc activities supporting Equans and Client team including Moves/Changes
For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.
These checks typically include:
* Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
* Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
* Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
* Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
* Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

Who are we looking for?
Must have-
* Valid UK driving Licence
* BICS
* Handyman experience
* Cleaning experience
* Demonstrable experience in cleaning, painting, plumbing or flooring in a construction, repair or maintenance environment..
* Understanding of Legionella control techniques e.g. tap flushing
