Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – SEND (Full-Time, Long-Term) 📍 Coventry 💰 Competitive Pay 📅 Full-time, long-term role | Start ASAP – December Some jobs make a difference. This one changes lives. You didn’t become an educator to stand on the sidelines - you’re here to help students overcome barriers and thrive. You understand that for some young people, school can feel overwhelming, and they need the right support to feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. Right now, one of the schools we work with in Coventry is looking for a full-time HLTA to join their SEND provision and support students with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This is a long-term role, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas. The Role You’ll be working with KS3 and KS4 students who struggle with anxiety, low confidence, and other emotional challenges that make school attendance difficult. Your role will be to:
* Build trust and positive relationships, helping students feel comfortable in the school environment
* Support emotional regulation and engagement with learning in small group or 1:1 settings
* Develop tailored strategies to help students rebuild confidence and reintegrate into education
* Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to create an inclusive, nurturing learning space
For these students, your support could mean the difference between school feeling impossible or achievable. Why Join Sprint Education Recruitment?

* A Supportive Environment – Work in a school that values SEND specialists and the vital work you do
* Make a Real Impact – Help students regain confidence and re-engage with education
