You will work in partnership with members of well-established multi-disciplinary teams, both operationally and strategically, to drive forward innovation delivering the best effective care for our patients.
You will provide medical and psychiatric support to the Consultant Psychiatrists working in the service area and in the management of service users. This is also a great opportunity for those who are working towards entry onto the Specialist Register via the Portfolio route. As an employer, we offer access to funds to support CPD/study leave allowance, SAS Tutor support, mentor, and PDP group involvement in our academic programme and teaching students in other professions, agile working with ICT support, staff benefits including NHS Pension, childcare vouchers, a salary sacrifice scheme, discount schemes, cycle to work and lease car schemes, staff health and wellbeing, subsidised gym membership, and other wellbeing support. Relocation expenses – a removal expenses package may be payable.
We want a Specialty Doctor who can deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patients and carers. The post holder will be required to work in partnership to provide initial assessment and treatment initiation where appropriate for patients referred to the service.
The post holder will need to ensure that people who use services, carers, and advocates are treated with respect and dignity.
