Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) preparing for their GCSE exams
* Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and challenges
* Deliver engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities
* Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of the current GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEN students
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
* Work primarily in a classroom setting or student's home
* Potential travel to different locations within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
