Accounts Assistant A prominent and growing national construction consultancy with multiple offices across the UK is looking for a skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant with proficiency in Xero for its office near London Bridge. The Accounts Assistant’s role As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the senior management team and all UK offices. Working alongside an Administrator in a sociable office, you will work independently and autonomously most of the time. Your responsibilities will include: General Accounting Credit control – proactively chasing outstanding payment Monthly management accounting / P&L Expenses Banking functions Insurances The Accounts Assistant Previous Xero experience is essential to this role You need to be confident and competent to work independently, without close supervision. Strong communication skills Previous experience within a professional services environment is preferred Accountancy qualifications are highly desirable Construction industry experience is not required as long as you have strong Xero and over 5 years of Bookkeeping / Finance experience.
