In this role:
* You will be responsible for the screening of referrals to children and Young Peoples services, including urgent referrals.
* You will hold a caseload of assessments, treatment, and consultation work based upon a conceptual framework and employing research-based evidence.
* You will provide direct therapeutic interventions in line with the grading of the post, including assessments, formulation, and therapeutic input into children, young people, and families referred into the service.
* You will undertake risk assessments and care plans accordingly, in line with the THRIVE framework.
What you'll need and be able to provide evidence for:
* Core professional qualification in Registered nursing, Social work or Occupational therapy.
* Degree or equivalent level of experience.
* Up to date Professional Registration (to be maintained).

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and young people with mental health problems and their families.
* Experience of working with a wide variety of patient groups.
* Evidence of further study/qualification:
* - i.e. Individual or group Psychotherapy.
* - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
* - Systemic Family Practice.
* - Webster Stratton Incredible years / parenting groups.
Qualifications
* Core professional qualification in Registered nursing, Social work or Occupational therapy.
* Degree or equivalent level of experience.
* Up to date Professional Registration (to be maintained).
