Our client is looking for a strong, highly motivated leader who has the ability to manage an industrial project & multiple projects in the future.
We are seeking a Project Manager with Distribution & Industrial project experience to join a fast-paced, ambitious & ever-growing UK Main Contractor.
You will be reporting into the Construction Director, handling complete responsibility for your site. You will have the know-how to add value at the pre-tender stage & executive stage whilst on site. This candidate would be part of an already established team and have aspirations for career development with a clear pathway to Directorship.
The project locations are all over the UK. This newly awarded project is on the outskirts of Oxford. They like every employee to be home every night. They have a family culture with internal progression, development & promotion being key to their BUSINESS VALUES.
We all know that the industry doesn't always allow every project award to be on your doorstep, so being open to travel is key.
The correct individual would have a passion for construction, with a can-do attitude, ensuring all jobs get handed over on time.
Experience Required:
1. Minimum of x2 projects delivered within the steel frame/distribution sector (completion values between £10-20 Million)
2. Strong communication skills
3. CSCS
4. SMSTS
5. First Aid
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Planning and successfully delivering industrial projects
2. Site management while supervising and coordinating staff, sub-contractors, plant, materials, and management information
3. Maintaining strict quality control procedures
4. Reporting on financial and operational progress
