Our key areas of work include providing day to day HR support to a range of clients, undertaking workplace investigations, working with clients on projects such as consultation exercises, undertaking training for clients and working alongside our clients to help them to achieve their people management goals. A rare opportunity has emerged for an Administrative Assistant to join the team in Bristol on a part time basis, providing a high level of administrative support to our HR Consultants and to work alongside the PA's to the NQHR team.

In this role, you'll support and work alongside two PAs, assisting our team of HR consultants. As the Administrative Assistant, you'll be handling incoming calls and emails, and organising and maintaining diaries for NQHR consultants. You'll also be managing electronic filing systems and executing file and matter opening procedures to ensure data collection and compliance.
You'll be taking notes at internal meetings, and if possible, at client meetings. Additionally, you'll assist in the administration of the HR retainer offering, including regular review of hours used and maintaining contact with retainer clients. Providing support for the quarterly online HR club and managing follow-ups will also be part of your responsibilities.
Producing documents and slides using PowerPoint, managing files including archiving and general maintenance, and assisting with monthly billing for clients are key responsibilities.

Where Will I Be Working?
Our Narrow Quay HR team are largely remote, but please be aware that you'll be expected to come in to the Bristol office one or two days per week. This is a part time role (21 hours per week) to be worked over three full days, or possibly over four (for example to accommodate school hours) to be agreed.
So Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?
Previous experience in an administrative role is essential, and knowledge of the legal and/or HR sector is desirable. You'll demonstrate a professional, discreet, and organised approach, with the ability to produce and format documents using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Your excellent organisational skills are a must, along with the ability to take notes in meetings or a willingness to learn touch typing and develop those skills. You're capable of developing strong relationships to encourage trust, teamwork, and collaboration.
Concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clients are crucial. The ability to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and integrity, along with flexibility, commitment, and the ability to work on your own initiative, are also essential qualities for this role.
