Please see below for a detailed job description of the role Main duties of the job Role of Assistant Facilities Contract Manager who will work with the Facilities Contract Manager in being responsible for the operational management of the facilities contracts and the service delivery with either appointed FM contractors or the EFCD team. They will also ensure that UEL provides an efficient, effective safe and well-maintained facilities management service that can deliver the UEL vision and enable front line clinical and other teams to concentrate and deliver on their core business of ‘patient first’. The working hours will be Monday - Friday working 7.5 hours per day mainly at Southampton General Hospital but travel to other locations in the UEL portfolio. Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities Oversee both FM Contractors and UHS Estates ongoing service delivery and be a point of escalation for customers of UEL when required, providing both day-to-day and ongoing leadership of the FM service Manage the facilities management service for the UEL areas of operation either by external contractors or UHS EFCD provision, Communicate and receive highly complex information to all stakeholders associated with UEL Estates Work as part of the wider team to ensure adequate service provision 24/7. Produce management data on a daily/weekly/monthly basis dependent on the service, by using BMS, MS Office applications including BI and Excel, FM Contractor, and AutoCad operating systems.
