Key Account Manager
The Key Account Manager is a pivotal role to manage ICP,CPO & DNO relationships, processes and service delivery to and from ESP to support/assure the smooth delivery of end-user EV roll-out programmes and to promote ESP as a partner of choice to ICPs.
You must have a HND or above in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and operate the production of scope packs for target sites (typically EV charging LV/HV connections) for ICPs to tender.
* Private networks network evaluation pre adoption.
* Working with Switchgear
* Own and operate the route selection process from POC to site and identify optimal solutions.
* Own and operate the ESP ICP Procurement System – including the maintenance and development of Ratecard solutions.
* Operate ESP’s programme support methodology to include, Tracking of ICP. commercial/tendering progress/Tracking of ICP delivery progress/Resolution and escalation of problem sites/ICPs.
* Coordinate (with support), New connection designs (with partners)/Land rights/Equipment/sourcing/specifications/ICP supply chain/ESP internal asset management processes.
* Own the POC process, coordinating activity internally and from customers to ensure successful outcomes.
* Responsible for expediting and accelerating POC and associated requests (supported by technical administration team).
* Responsible for accurate reporting and transparency of status of POCs for all stakeholders.
* Responsible for securing viable POCs for end-users, challenging, persuading, negotiating with DNOs as required.
* Build and maintain DNO relationships to support the ESP proposition.
* Engage and coordinate ESP technical/engineering competence as required.
* Support the POC viability determination process by seeking value engineering opportunities.
* Seek to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Person Specification
* Construction/Electrical/Utilities industry minimum 5 years’ experience
* Experience of managing/coordinating multiple projects
* Have excellent technical knowledge of LV/HV switchgear
* Proven commercial skills (inc procurement and contract management)
* Experience of dealing successfully with DNOs
* Knowledge of DNO/IDON Policy & Standards
* Knowledge of CT’s & Elexon
* Power Distribution (HV & LV) knowledge (probably gained from DNO/IDNO/ICP/M&E)
* Proven ability to solve problems creatively
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment, with high volumes of activity
