Description
As a Business Design Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the business design practice for AXA Health, bridging the gap between strategy and execution. You’ll address a wide range of business challenges to shape the future of our operating model.
You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with a number of teams across the organisation, creating clarity around the architecture of our business, simplifying complex structures, and enabling a shared understanding of how each component fits together.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at your local office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
* Provide strategic direction and thought leadership in business design initiatives. Lead projects from inception to delivery, guiding junior team members and fostering a culture of design excellence.
* Engage with key stakeholders to understand their unique obstacles, goals, and requirements. Develop deep insights into their needs and collaborate to deliver tailored and effective solutions.
* Tackle complex obstacles by applying a blend of investigative thinking, design methodologies, and industry knowledge.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and refine operating models that support organisational goals, growth and resilience.
* Help align initiatives with operational reality, and guiding execution and judgements to support AXA Health long-term objectives.
* Stay updated on emerging trends, industry best practices and design methodologies, sharing knowledge and insights within the team.
What you’ll bring:
* Proven experience as a business design consultant or in a similar strategic role.
* Strong background in operating model design.
* Ability to visualise complex information and use it to tell a structured story.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
* Leadership and project management skills.
* Evidenced ability to guide design through from concept to delivery, ensuring strategy is delivered into real life ways of working.
* Thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
