About The Role: Role Overview We are currently recruiting for the Head of the National Operations Centre to join our passionate and driven Security teams based in Ipswich Suffolk. Purpose of the Role: Reporting directly to the Director of Security, Risk and Resilience UK&I, you will lead all operations within the National Operations Centre (NOC), accountable for the overall management of people, physical and preventative security for OCS Group UK&I and their clients. The NOC is the heartbeat of the Security business at OCS and effective leadership is required to deliver a First Class, Industry Leading service. Key Responsibilities: Strategically lead and manage the OCS National Operations Centre (NOC) in line with company values and behaviours To oversee the development and implementation of appropriate and fit-for-purpose strategies, systems, policies, processes and procedures. Assessment of risk across all the above aspects providing specialist advice through several channels; ensuring that security arrangements meet all corporate, stakeholder and regulatory requirements in a cost effective, safe and business ethical manner. Be responsible for the provision of crime and intelligence updates for OCS and their clients Accountability for the effective running of all related security systems in the NOC including Timegate, Crime & intelligence platform, Incident reporting software and call logging Reviewing and enhance working practices in the NOC Ensure safety regulations are followed Keep employees motivated and organising appropriate training and contingency planning Ensure customer satisfaction report and rectify any issues Provide advice and guidance around critical incident management Ensure the clients reporting processes are followed Receive out-of-hours calls from the client Helpdesk and escalate as required in line with procedures. Ensure workflow is monitored and controlled within the team to ensure capacity is high and downtime, duplication and wasted effort are minimised Liaise with clients Additional Comments The NOC is a busy environment so will need to be able to focus & prioritise in order to meet deadlines. A Flexible approach to working time in order to meet operational deadlines & support the business is required.
