The Fleet Management Team are looking for a team member to join us in delivering the administration of a large vehicle fleet. Training is provided (You might not have a background in fleet management) but an excellent level of ICT skills (including Excel, Word etc) are required. We are a small team so the ability to work independently is crucial. Attention to detail and being confident to meet with our service users and managers is important to us.
Your main role will involve arranging short term hire of vehicles and carrying out driving licence checks but other duties will be required from time to time to support the team.
A clean, current driving licence is required as the role is a hybrid one meaning work in the office and from home. Own vehicle is required.

The Fleet Management Team is responsible for the legal and compliant operation of all Council owned and leased vehicles and the work of the team is critical to ensuring the safety of our drivers and the public.
