We are currently recruiting Domiciliary Carers for our client in the Cumberland and Yorkshire areas. Job Summary As a Domiciliary Carer, your main role will be to provide person-centred care to service users, helping them with a wide range of care needs and enabling them to maintain their independence while living in their own home. You’ll offer support in daily activities, ensuring that each service user is treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Key Responsibilities Providing high-quality care : Support service users with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication assistance. Personal care duties : Administer medications, assist with daily living tasks, and provide shopping and meal preparation support. Supporting independence : Help service users engage in community activities, socialise, and pursue leisure activities. Domestic support : Assist with cleaning and other domestic tasks to ensure a comfortable home environment. Promoting health and wellbeing : Encourage and support service users in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and independence. Flexible work schedules : Be prepared to work a range of shift patterns, including alternate weekends. Record keeping : Maintain accurate records, monitor any changes in service user conditions, and promptly report any concerns.
