We are looking for a Band 5 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team in Essex, to help us continue to change things for the better.

Main Responsibility
We are looking for a dynamic Band 5 to work with children and young people aged 0-19.
Our service treats children with a wide range of MSK and neuro-developmental needs/long term conditions.
This post will be a community role based in Colchester but the successful candidate will be required to work across North East Essex within a variety of settings across clinics and the community making access to a car essential.
The successful candidate will be supported to deliver patient-centred care and will possess a friendly and approachable attitude, with excellent team-working, communication and organisational skills. Experience in paediatrics is desirable but not essential as training and supervision are an integral part of our team ethos.
The Ideal Candidate
Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy & registered with HCPC
1. Evidence of Post graduate training/or equivalent experience relevant to specialty such as:
1. Child Development
2. Specialist courses/study on conditions that affect child development, autistic spectrum disorder, ADHD, neurodevelopmental conditions
2. Evidence of continuing professional development
3. Experience of using a range of assessments and treatment methods
4. Good general knowledge of normal child development and conditions that affect this.
5. The ability to analyse assessment results to formulate treatment plans, including the use of “SMART” targets, taking into consideration client, social and environmental factors.
6. A good understanding of specialist equipment and postural management
7. Good multi-disciplinary/agency working skills
